Earn $1K for Your H.S. with StudyBlue

StudyBlue is hoping to help you, your students, and your entire high school finish off the academic year on a high note.

The high school that has the most students sign up for a free StudyBlue account in the next 14 days will earn $1,000 cash. Not only will your students benefit from the best, free online study tools, but we’ll make a contribution to your school (or your school’s fundraising arm) and you can spend the $1,000 however you choose. Whether you need to buy more books for the library or throw an end-of-year celebration, how you spend the money is up to you and your colleagues.

If your high school has 300 students or 3,000, it can still earn the money. The high school that adds the most NEW students as a percentage of their school enrollment will win the prize. You have until Monday, April 11 (at 11:59PM CDT) for your students to sign up.

We’ll announce the winner on this blog on Tuesday, April 12th.

Again, the high school with the largest percentage of new users will earn the $1,000. And to qualify to win your school needs to get at least 50 new students. For example, if High School A has an enrollment of 1,000 and adds 100 NEW students during the promotion period, that is a new-user percentage of 10%. If High School B has an enrollment of 800 students and also adds 100 new students, that’s a new-user percentage increase of 12.5%. High School B would beat High School A, even though both schools added the same amount of NEW students during the promotion period. High School B added more new students as a % of their school’s total enrollment.

Starting later this week, we’ll post a leaderboard of the top schools; this leaderboard will appear in the “comments” section of this blog post, and we’ll update it periodically until the end of the promotion period. So you can see where your school stacks up in the race to finish first.

    • The Class Code makes it easier for students to join your class on StudyBlue:

  • Give your students the StudyBlue class code and when they register for StudyBlue they’ll be able to automatically join your class. With the Class Code, your students won’t need to check their email to register for StudyBlue. After a class is set up, you can find your Class Code in the lower, right-hand corner of your class page.

      Note: GFW High School (MN) is at 17% but has not met the minimum of 50 new students. 44 new students have registered.

      We’re pleased to announce the winning H.S.! Van Meter H.S. (IA) got 43% of their student body signed up for StudyBlue, so they’ve earned the $1,000 contribution from StudyBlue!
