Meet Molly! She is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Journalism & Mass Communication. Molly has been hard at work studying for finals, but she sat down with us to tell us more about how she uses StudyBlue, especially during crunch times. Read on to learn more about Molly!
What is your favorite feature on StudyBlue & why do you love it?
My favorite feature on StudyBlue is the search function throughout the site. I can look up my classes and their material, but also use it for general searches for things I want to learn more about.
How do you incorporate StudyBlue into your daily/weekly routine?
I use StudyBlue a lot on-the-go on my iPhone. The StudyBlue iPhone app is great, and it allows me to open my Backpack and study materials I have saved.
Do you have any advice/tips for students on how to use StudyBlue?
Keep all your notes in one place. Having notes in your notebook, in a Word document, scratch paper, on Evernote, etc., can get confusing! With StudyBlue, all my notes are in one place: online.
Any advice for students on how to prepare for midterms/finals?
If your teacher or professor gives you a study guide beforehand, definitely refer to that for most of your studying! They will most likely put things on study guides that you have to know for the test. If they don’t provide you with one, make your own flashcards and study guide.
What do you think of StudyBlue’s new user experience?
The new search options on the website are awesome. Not only can you search for notes and flashcards within your school, you can search everything in StudyBlue and it will show you all public flashcards and notes for that topic. It’s definitely my favorite feature on the site!
What social media sites do you use regularly?
I am definitely obsessed with Twitter! It’s a great way to talk directly with my friends, professors, family, etc. I also love my Pinterest boards, and it is a great way to take a break from studying.
Thanks Molly for taking some time to talk with us! Molly is the newest intern at SBHQ and we’re excited to have her on board! We heart our students! If you’re interested in becoming one of our student bloggers, send an email to jennifer (at) studyblue (dot) com.
