StudyBlue Goes iPad

There are small announcements in life; announcements such as, “Hey, I just got a new cat,” or “I found ten dollars on the street today”. And then there are the big ones, like “Guess what, I’m having a baby!” Well StudyBlue-ers, consider today the day we spread our “we’re having a baby” announcement. Hold on to your seats, because the StudyBlue iPad app is here!

We’ve been working on the iPad app for some time now, and many of you have been incredibly patient waiting and wishing for it to pop up in the App Store. The road has been long but it was worth taking based on the
finished product. Enjoy a larger screen with which to scour your Backpack and public materials for nuggets of study goodness, edit previously made flashcard decks, add in images and record audio segments to be inserted, and stay on top of class materials for each of your connected class folders. Slick design and intuitive movements make it both easy and fun to use whether you’re a student brushing up on a deck of flashcards before a test, or a teacher conducting in-class exercises.

To take a tour of the free app, check out this link. And as always, do not hesitate to reach out with any feedback you may have on the app or any other feature StudyBlue provides. With StudyBlue at your side, you’ll be all style when it’s time to once again go back to school.

I’m really glad you guys finally released an iPad app. It’s really fluid and works well with gestures. One suggestion – why are the cards so darn small? Whats the point of using the ipad app rather than an blown-up iphone app on your ipad when the cards are 2″ tall? Please already post an update!

Asfiomeo – Thank you for the feedback! We are aware that the cards appear smaller than they could be and it is something slotted to be improved upon for future updates. Keep an eye out for things to come.
