Meet Morgan: StudyBlue Ambassador from Church Hill, Tennessee

Meet Morgan, a student from Church Hill, Tennessee attending Sullivan East High School.

Although her school is not large, she describes it as one big family.

It’s a big, big world out there! After graduation where do you see yourself heading?

I am planning on getting a degree in Sports Training, and hope to work at a local school as a sports trainer while attending school for a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. After college graduation, I see myself living near the college that I choose. Hoping to get certified eventually as a pediatric physical therapist, I am aiming to create an environment that all children can feel comfortable in while attending therapy.

What is your favorite activity outside of school?

Outside of school I love to cook. Helping my mom cook every night, I am learning from the best! I am also a member of many school clubs, such as a varsity cheer team member, and a teammate on the tennis team.

What are your top app picks and describe how you use technology to your studying advantage?

Spending most of my day on my iPhone, when I’m not using an app, I am constantly searching for new ones. My top application picks include Instagram, StudyBlue, Twitter, Netflix, and Messaging. Depending on my current schedule for the week, I use my mobile device for about 30 minutes a day during study hall to study. If I don’t have a hard week academically, I go the whole week without studying. I enjoy the easy access and accessibility of my mobile device, so I prefer to study on it over my computer.

Do you have any advice for others on how to study better?

My advice to students is to download the app so that no matter the size of your school, content is created to share among students and flashcards can be used integrally as a class. If you add new terms as soon as you get them, you have them ready to use and study for. It makes it a lot easier to study if you do not have to work on making cards right before the big exam. Don’t wait until last minute. Studying a few things at a time is a lot easier than studying a lot at once!
