Meet Lexie: StudyBlue Ambassador from Pinckney, Michigan

Meet Lexie, a senior at Pinckney Community High School in Pinckney, Michigan. With a love for her school, she believes she is given numerous classroom opportunities with teachers that she finds incredible.

What do you love about your school and what are you majoring in?

While learning everything I  possibly can, I want to harness a lot of connections and intend to double major in Business Administration and Psychology. After graduating college, I would love to be the head administrator of a hospital.

What are your favorite things to do outside of school?

Outside of school I am heavily involved in my local community theatre. I enjoy modeling and have also choreographed theatre musicals for three years.

What are some of your favorite mobile phone applications?

I check my phone every five minutes from the minute I wake up until the minute I go to bed. Some of my favorite apps include StudyBlue, Evernote, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter. I spend about three hours a week studying on my mobile device.

Do you prefer to study on a mobile device or a computer? Why?

With a laptop provided from my school, I am able to start my English papers from the comfort of class and am able to use my computer during my classes. However, I prefer to study on my mobile device because it is convenient, accessible and easy to grab for mere minutes at a time.

How do you best use StudyBlue?

I love the flashcard feature and believe it is fantastic to track your progress with the percent mastery graph, allowing you to know how well you are expected to do on your future exams.

Any advice to students during exams?

I advise new users to take advantage of the recommended cards that pop up as you are typing your card because sometimes another person may word things in a way that makes more sense to you. Sharing is caring! I recommend everyone to create lots of flashcards. Only write what you need and keep it simple. Find your favorite place to study, wear your sweats, grab a latte, and pull up StudyBlue!
