Meet Sophia: StudyBlue Ambassador from Holland, MI

Meet Sophia, a senior at the University of Michigan from Holland, MI.

What do you love about your school and what are you majoring in?

I love everything about it, especially our school pride. I’m pre-med majoring in Biomolecular Sciences and minoring in Asian Languages & Cultures.

What do enjoy doing outside of school?

Outside of school, I’m part of various cultural organizations and plan/attend conferences. After graduation, I hope to go into public health or medical school.

How much time are you on your mobile device and what are your favorite applications?

I’m always on my smartphone whenever I’m not on my laptop. I feel lost without my phone. I’m constantly on the lookout for new apps and beta test a lot of them, but my top five are Facebook, Snapchat, Spotify, Youtube and Pulse.

What are your favorite StudyBlue features?

My favorite feature on StudyBlue is the ability to create flashcards. Since I’m minoring in Chinese, I’m constantly learning new vocabulary words, and this helps me when I’m studying on-the-go.

Any advice for students preparing for exams?

My best advice for students when it comes to preparing for exams is to stay on top of schoolwork and study at least 1.5 weeks before the exam. Also, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
