StudyBlue is looking for an experienced Android Application developer with a passion for building robust and efficient mobile applications. The ideal candidate has several awesome applications in the Android Market and enjoys diving into new projects head first. Position requirements include:

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions for StudyBlue on Android phones.
  • Pushing the envelope while developing new and exciting features that take advantage of non-traditional layouts.
  • Working closely with StudyBlue’s UX designers and API developers.

Must have.

2+ years professional software development experience with the following:

  • Android SDK
  • XML, web services, JSON
  • Java
  • JavaScript / HTML

In addition, the candidate must have at least one Android application in the Android Market. The application should have been coded and released by the applicant. Sorry, calculators don’t count, unless they’re amazing.

Nice to have.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following specific technologies:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • CSS
  • Ant / Maven
  • Spring Injection
  • Tomcat
