You’re an experienced Application Developer with a passion for building robust and efficient HTML based web applications. You’ve got a strong Object Oriented Programming background and enjoys working with customer facing code. You work well with others.

The job: You will help StudyBlue implement and develop its applications for the web, social media and customer service.

Responsibilities.

  • Implementing and supporting the client-side code needs of StudyBlue’s web platforms
  • Web application development
  • Social media application development
  • Customer service and administration application development
  • Working closely with StudyBlue’s UX designers and server-side developers

Must have.

3+ years professional software development experience with the following:

  • One or more Objected Oriented Languages: Java (preferred), C++, object oriented PHP, Ruby, Adobe ActionScript
  • JavaScript / AJAX
  • HTML / CSS

Nice to have.

The ideal candidate might also have experience with the following specific technologies:

  • Google Web Toolkit
  • Spring (or other IOC Framework)
  • Subversion
