Your attention to detail and aesthetic sensibilities are keen, and you are excited to use them to implement consistent, seamless, cross-platform experiences for students worldwide. You can support the styling of StudyBlue whether it shows up in Mozilla/Safari/Chrome/IE desktop browsers, iOS and Android applications, or Mobile web browsers. You excel at pushing the proverbial envelope while developing new features. You’re confident you can work closely with StudyBlue’s UX designers and API developers to help create a pixel-perfect product that shines.

The job: You will help implement a consistent, seamless, cross-platform experience for all students on StudyBlue.

Must have.

3+ years professional software development experience with the following:

  • HTML / CSS
  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
  • JavaScript / AJAX
  • Mobile HTML / CSS experience

Nice to have.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following specific technologies:

  • Google Web Toolkit
  • One or more web development and RIA technologies: Java, Ruby on Rails, Adobe Flex, PHP, Spring WebFlow, Struts, Tapestry, etc.
  • Subversion
  • Karaoke machine skills
