Becky brings over 15 years of experience growing early stage tech businesses, half with an early stage start-up through IPO in the voice processing industry called Brite Voice Systems, and half with industry leader Microsoft running MSN’s international business.
Christopher Klündt, Head of Product, Founder
Chris heads technology development and operations. Chris graduated at the top of his class in computer science and biomedical engineering at UW-Madison, and went straight to work designing a software platform to help students study better together. Thus StudyBlue was born.

Blake Irving, Chief Product Officer, Yahoo!
Recently named chief product officer of Yahoo!, Blake serves as professor of entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University and previously led product teams at Microsoft over a 15-year tenure. As corporate vice president of MSN and Windows Live Platform groups, Blake led the development and operations of Messenger, Hotmail and AdCenter. Blake also held senior positions at Xerox Corp., Oki Electric Industry Co. Ltd. and Compaq Computer Corp.
Steve Wallman, Wallman Investment Counsel
Steve is a securities analyst with Wallman Investment Counsel and is the general partner for Wallman Limited Partnership. He is chair of the StudyBlue board.
John Wiley, University of Wisconsin-Madison
John is a faculty member and interim director of the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. He has nearly 40 years in higher education, including eight as chancellor for the UW-Madison, and additional time serving as the UW-Madison’s provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs, vice chancellor for research and dean of the graduate school.
