Fox 31 Denver – Back to School Apps for Your Smartphone and Tablet

For most parents, the smartphone and tablet can be the enemy when it’s time to get some homework done.  Our kids love to play games on them.  If you download the right apps those devices could become just the tool you need to help your kids learn and get organized.  Here are some of my favorite apps just in time for back to school.

Studyblue (iOSAndroid)

Flashcards are often the best way to help kids learn simple words, facts and definitions.  Studyblue is a digital flashcard app.  Some classes and topics have pre-existing flashcard sets or you can create your own.  You can’t go wrong with flashcards and Studyblue is a great app for taking a classic study tool and making it digital.
