When Bonzo tried to fight Ender while he was taking a shower, he was unprepared. This was smart on his part, but Ender hid himself. Ender turned on all the showers to build up the smoke. Bonzo couldn?t see Ender. Ender got beneath Bonzo and rammed his head into his nose. This killed Bonzo. Like Sun Tzu, Ender was a wonderful strategist. Sun Tzu spoke oof hiding beneath a cloak of disorder. Ender figured out the freeze your legs against your stomach, you will be able to shield your body but also shoot between both legs. It was the ultimate concealment that won most of Ender?s battles. In the final battle, Ender was out numbered about a thousand to one. Ender broke up his opponent to make it even. This can be compared to Sun Tzu?s statement: We can form a single unit body, while the enemy must split into fractions. As a leader you always have a plan before going into battle. However, this plan only includes what your unit will do. It will never account for how the enemy will react. Sun Tzu said that ?he who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven-born captain. Ended was told about a battle about ten minutes before it began. By the time he got his army ready the battle had started and the enemy had already gotten their positions. Ender got some boys and used them as a shield while they entered the battle. He also used a special squad to flank them. He ended up winning the battle. Ender encountered a lot of different leaders in his careers. He worked under Bonzo was a leader who refused to use him because he was too young. Even when Ender was the last person alive, shot his gun, and won the game. He still got in trouble. Once Ender was traded he had a new leader who was way too lenient and undisciplined. Sun Tzu explains that an officer is in no position to fight if they are too angry or too unsubordinated. Sun Tzu explained that by inflicting damage, he can make it impossible for the enemy to draw near. When Ender first starting playing the battle games, he would shoot straight for the enemy door. This could disable half of the enemy team before the game has hardly begun. Ender was a great leader. He worked with many students by having his own practices. Once he was given his own army, he worked with disciplined but gave respect. Sun Tzu said to regard your soldiers as your children; they will follow and respect you. Once the rumor went around that Bonzo wanted to fight Ender, they watched his back. Everywhere Ender went, he always had his toon leaders walk with him. This shows how much they respected Ender as a leader.
