Race:
group/population that shares genetic characteristics and physical features—biological perspective
Sociologist favor race as a social construct
we create race based on labels, meanings, and definitions, we form, transform, and reform race throughout society
Ethnic groups
groups set apart from other groups because they have unique cultural traits
Prejudice
an attitude; where you prejudge someone before you know them
