specialization
practice of social work focused on specific population or field of practice requiring specialized knowledge and skill; contrasts with "generalist practice"
task-centered method
short-term therapeutic approach to intervention that stresses the selection of specific tasks to be worked on within a limited time frame to address the needs of a client system
