THE FEDERAL JUDICIARY IS ORGANIZED HOW?
by a three-layer pyramid; district courts- courts of appeals- supreme court
WHAT ARE THE DISTRICT COURTS?
have 632 justices; appeals has 179 judges
handle the lower level cases
WHAT IS THE COURT OF THE FINAL APPEAL?
supreme court
SO ARE THE LOWER COURTS DIFFERENT?
no! all of the courts are designed to do the same thing- enact judicial review
some like the supreme court handle higher level cases
Supreme Court rests on delegation- tries to persuade lower level to enforce the same ideas
SO THE SUPREME COURT IS THE RULER?
no the supreme court cannot SAY ideas that they want to happen, they can only SUGGEST
judges are FOR LIFE!

no! the Supreme Court cannot reverse a ruling that has been made by the lower courts with appeal from the person in the lawsuit

Marshall forgot to deliver the commission
Marbury sued Marshall and demanded that he deliver commission
ruling: shoulda done it, but writ of manadamus did include this, sorry!

States- how the lower courts are MY TURF! Forget the Constitution
if the federal government made the lower court, everytime it changed, an amendement would have to be made- too much work!
