This is the second of three written assignments. Submit via moodle on Thursday, March 04. Please recall that the late policy limits any late submission to the equivalent of a ?C? letter grade and plan accordingly. Chapter four provides the legal framework and develops the provisions of federal laws that support the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) goal: leveling the playing field so that all individuals have equal treatment in all employment related actions (Mathis and Jackson, 2008). Chapter five addresses the day-to-day issues associated with managing human resources within the EEO environment. The K. Stone legal optional reading directly addresses the issue of potential future changes to EEO legislation. Write a persuasive essay (750 ? 1000 word range) that describes the future and impact of EEO within your chosen career field over the next ten years. The context of the employer/employee relationship (both the nature of work and the psychological contract) is rapidly changing due to globalization and technological advancement. Will the provisions of federal laws initiated to support EEO in the manufacturing era and adapted to the service and knowledge economy be relevant to your career field in the early to mid 21st century? Note: All three written assignments are intended to provide you an opportunity to explore your prospective career field through the lens of the employment relationship and the changing nature of HRM.
