(Reaction 1) CO (g) + 3H2 (g) <> CH4 + H2O (g) (Reaction 2) CH4 (g) + 2H2S (g) <> CS2 (g) + 4H2 (g) When we take the sum of these two equations, we get (Reaction 3) CO (g) + 2H2S (g) <> CS2 (g) + H2O (g) + H2 (g) K3 = K1 x K2
