Undrape right leg, apply lubricant and effleurage upper thigh at hamstrings just below drape. NOTE: USE ONLY FEATHER STROKES ON POPLITEAL AREA, THIS IS AN ENDANGERMENT SITE.
Perform fulling to hamstrings from popliteal area to draping 2x.
Switch to horse stance then apply kneading to same area 2x.
Perform wringing to hamstrings from popliteal area to greater trocanter and back to just superior to popliteal area.
Flush out with knuckle effleurage inferior to superior starting from lateral sice at iliotibial band and onto tensor fascialata.
Apply knuckle effleurage to posterior hamstring, then onto medial aspect of upper thigh.
Next perform forearm glides first on medial aspect and then on posterior of thigh, then switch arms to do the lateral aspect.
Glide down the ankle and effleurage the calf muscle area.
Perform fulling 2x and kneading 2x from ankle up to popliteal area.
Then wringing onto gastrocnemius from ankle to popliteal area and back down the ankles.
Apply thumb glides up center of lower leg between gastrocnemius 2x.
Then around gastrocnemius to palpate the soleous muscle beneath the gastrocnemius 2x.
Apply chucking friction to lower leg centripetal.
Then flush with effleurage up to popliteal area.
Massage on foot.
Flush the entire leg with effleurage and brush strokes to say good bye to the area.
NOTE: Before foot massage you may perform passive range of motion:
a. Flex knee to 90 degrees.
b. Perform ROM to ankles, then achilles tendon stretch 2x.
c. Internal and external pelvic rotation with soft knuckle compression at gluteals.
d. Quadriceps stretch 2x
e. Then big circular ROM with knee flex at 90 degrees.
17. Finish with foot massage and good bye effleurage strokes, light vibration and traction.
