Women: legal rights but were dependent on men. Ku-Baba was an exception. She ruled Kish. 6. Religion Polytheistic- Worshiped many gods. These gods were like ordinary people and controlled everything from joy to suffering. Each year the king of each city would marry the Goddess Inanna (Goddess of Love) in a ceremonial ritual hoping for a fruitful year. 7.
