Tiger Woods may be getting phased out of more places than just his home. Gillette announced that they will be phasing him out of their ads. Apparently, if you cheat on your wife with a dozen women, then you are not fit to tell men what shaving blades to buy. We seem to forget how clean shaven Woods has been during each of his Masters wins. Will this loss in sponsorship make Woods less appealing for all the women who want to help him cheat on his wife? Doubtful. But, Gillette is not the only company to drop Woods from sponsorship; Gatorade will no longer be selling the Tiger brand flavor. I know that I wouldn?t want to have an affair with any man who doesn?t have their own beverage. Not to mention the fact that Gatorade and Gillette have so much to do with golf, that this will undoubtly ruin Wood?s game. Accenture, a global management services company, has also dropped Woods after featuring him in many of their ads. On the other side of the story, Woods wife seems to be coming out of this with something ever future divorced wife needs, high priced endorsements. While Tiger is being dropped left and right, his wife, Elin Nordegren, is in talks with Puma for a new Swedish inspired clothing line called Tretorn. Ironically enough Puma is one of the top companies that challenges Woods sponsor Nike. Possibly just a coincidence, or maybe there is a little reasoning behind this. A rep for Puma told TMZ that Nordegren seems like ?a good brand fit.? Apparently, Nike still sees Woods as a good brand fit because they are continuing to stand by him and not drop him from their company sponsorship. Cheating men around the world can feel comfortable in buying some Nike polos, for Nike doesn?t discriminate against them. Good news for Tiger, but we will see how Nike?s sales do from this. With Woods in the news everyday, it seems as if the only person not saying anything bad about him is his wife. This sort of composer and grace is something that is making her very marketable. On the other side of things, these affairs seem to be doing the exact opposite of Tiger. With everything being said about him and all the allegations in the news, even a huge company like Nike could feel the wrath of his cheating ways. Good job Tiger, way to ?Just Do It.?
