Summa Theologiae - Is theology neccessary? What are the "objections" to learning any more than can be learned from philosophy?
1-men should not need to know anything above philosophical reason, everything that is philosophical reason is treated in philosophical science, therefore anything above philiosophical reason is superfluos
2-Knowledge can be concerned only with being, for nothing can be knwon, save what is true;and all that is, is true. But everyhing that is, is treated in philopsphical science, even god himself. so that there is a part of philosophy called theology. Therefore we only need philosophy.
1- man is directed toward God
2-the truth of God such as reason could discover, would only be known by a few, and that after a long time, and with the admixture of many errors
3-so the salvation of men may be brought out more fitly and more surely

- Jesus christ who sets good against evil is our real Mother
-Ï saw the blessed trinity working. I saw that there were these three attributes: fatherhood, motherhood, and lordship- all in one god"
-öur life, too, is threefold" being, growth and perfection
