Teaching in both English and Spanish, concurrently. Basically a translator saying everything in both languages.
Would require someone who has content area knowledge in both languages. Very uncommon strategy for bilingual education.
Preview- Review Approach
Teacher gives content overview in L1 to prepare for the lecture/lesson in L2 then may split into groups and review in L1. Not used often since required separation of languages is typical in bilingual education.

Sheltered English or ESL content
1) Content based instruction in English (as opposed to teaching just language)
2) Hands-on activities, concrete objects, simplified speech, and physical activities
3) Most effective for students at an intermediate or advanced level.
