Breaks away halogens! When these substituted bonds are broken, double bonds are allowed to form in their place.
Similar to a lindler catalyst, this will only break bonds from alkyne to alkene. The result is a syn addition of H and B(Sia). If NaOH, H2O2 is added. The final result will be a H and OH which has the potential to tautomerize.
