Crito tries to convince Socrates to leave because… He doesn’t want to be deprived of Socrates’ wisdom. Socrates abandoning his children is unjust. Socrates’ peers will look bad in the eyes of the majority; they were too cheap to help, too cowardly. Socrates is helping his enemies complete an unjust action- accepting injustice.
