There will be 2 live voiced interpreters, Patty Gordon and Susan Boinis. Please refer to flyer posted on webCT for further information, or go to Dreamland Arts website and click ‘A Look in the Mirror’. Questions to reflect or observe: In what scene or dialogue context did you find oppression and explain further the point of the context. Please do not make a general statement such as “the person is obviously negligent a deaf child because of ignorant of Deaf Language and culture”. Please elaborate the rationale of your point What interesting dynamics of diversity and culture did you find in scenes and dialogue aspects, and explain further the points of interest to you. If you want to add context outside the performance such as your experience or study, please do so, but be sure to present the relevance to the context or point from the scene. From your perspective how does this Deaf one-person performance compare or contrast with performances from other theaters? Address the processes from writing to directing.
