Daniel Sawares Section 001 Monday, January 25, 2010 Experiments support the idea of mimicry, the salamander mimics the color of a poisonous Pacific Newts for its benefit. Shawn R. Kuchta, American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists 2005 published did not say when submitted. The abstract explains that they are trying to support the hypothesis that other salamanders will mimic the bright colors of the poisonous newts. By doing these animals would normally eat them; will not eat them anymore. Does not say how the study was funded. It has a lot of citation but does not say if any scientists were consulted in this project. They did not cite them self and they spread the amount of citation pretty fairly and didn?t favor one person more than another. They cite articles from 1940 to 2004.
