Divisibility Rule when you see ADDITION

A multiple of N plus a multiple of N is a multiple of N

A multiple of N plus a non-multiple of N is NOT a multiple of N

A multiple of N plus a non-multiple of N is NOT a multiple of N

Factor Foundation Rule

If a is a factor of b, and b is a factor of c, then a is also a factor of c.

Example: if 2 is a factor of 10, and 10 is a factor if 60, then 2 is a factor of 60

Example: if 2 is a factor of 10, and 10 is a factor if 60, then 2 is a factor of 60

Prime Factorization

A way to express any number as a product if prime numbers
