Lab Reports Genetic analysis and mapping in Drosophila - Skeletal Report (15%) Drosophila Lab Report (15%) 40% of grade............ Midterm and Final Exam Two exams will be given during laboratory periods. 27% of grade............ Notebook, Homework and Lab Write-Ups You are required to keep a lab notebook for this course, which will be checked occasionally during the semester. Your lab notebook should be a complete and accurate record of your observations, results and analysis of results. It should contain: experiment protocols, your data, experimental methods not outlined in the lab manual, deviations from the procedure, mistakes or problems encountered in the lab, and tables and charts. These 27% of the course grade will be distributed between four major assignments and additional homework. Check-offs and Attendance You must show your instructor the final results of all the experiments in microbial genetics in the form of bacterial or yeast plates. You are expected to attend every lab.
