Internal goods- what you get in response to that activity and only that activity.
External goods- only contingently related. Can get from other activities too. (can get money lots of different ways.)
Supererogatory act- (morally praise worthy but not obligated to do them)- beyond your duty & saints & heroes, even though rare, should still recognize them b/c gives us something to strive to be like (guidelines).

Give them enough intelligence to be happy with their role, therefore happy in life. They inject happiness, therefore no longer have freedom, or their own lives
