Meet Meryl, a student at Miami Palmetto Senior High in Miami, Florida. Living in a gorgeous part of Miami, Meryl loves volunteering at community events with friends. Currently in high school, she does not yet have a major but is interested in environmental science and communication. It's a big, big world out there! After graduation where do you see yourself heading? Since I was in fourth grade I envisioned myself as a lawyer. However, recently I found a passion for environmental law and environmental litigation. I hope to develop legislation to prevent pollution and promote the development of clean energy. How do you use technology and what are a couple of your favorite apps? Constantly ?plugged in? online, you can find me always in arms reach of my phone, tablet, laptop, or anything that can connect to Wi-Fi. Some of my favorite apps include Snapchat and Messenger to talk to friends, BuzzFeed to feed my news addiction and StudyBlue to stay on top of my Advanced Placement classes. How do you incorporate StudyBlue into your daily routine? Using the StudyBlue app for a few hours every week, I enjoy syncing my online flashcards with my computer and studying on-the-go. Being the Online Editor-in-Chief of my school's newspaper and a PR Manager for the school's No Place for Hate Anti-Bullying Club, I am quite acquainted with my computer at all times. Do you prefer your mobile device or computer and why? I enjoy to study great amounts on my computer over a mobile device. Having the ability to share flashcards with classmates makes my life extremely easier, allowing me to identify what was missing in the flashcards to improve studying as a whole for all individuals. Have any advice to your fellow students? My advice to students: stay organized with folders. There is a reason StudyBlue has made folders available. Use them. Organize your notes and flashcards so that they do not get lost in the black hole that is your book bag!
